I won't be that disappointed if we don't get Harper to go along with our Manny. I also think there are some other smart alternatives if the years are favorable. A guy like Pollock allows you to not block any development at the MLB level if he can be had for 3 years.

I’m out on AJ the Pollack. Too ouchy. They need a corner OF along with another starter and reliever.

Pollack and Donaldson are both great gambles to take, imo

What about posters who don't know how divisional tiebreakers work?

I wonder if the market is tanking now for Harper if the Sox are out on him for the moment and he doesn't like Philadelphia

Not real fans, just like females who like football.

Boras pushing the Nats as a fallback position. It reeks of desperation. Dodgers or Cubs and don't be surprised if the money and years is below Manny's Sox contract that he signs next week.

I don't understand why they don't call the Diamondbacks up about Grienke.

Is it just me or does it seem like this free agency season has revealed local writers to be nothing more than pom pom wavers

They made the offer a week ago. I can't believe they're this far behind.

I have never been more disappointed in a thread on this board's history.

Unless he signs.

I'm not sold on this guy but the train is already in the ravine and everyone is dead, so might as well light it on fire too.

Ichiro got a sushi roll in Seattle... we should have a Machado roll here... tuna, crab, cucumber, avacado wrapped in salmon with spicy sauce.

Sounds like the Dodgers have nearly zero interest in Harper for financial reasons.

Didn't the Cubs offer Lester 25% more than anyone else? I think the Sox have to do the something similar.
