I was at 13 and downgraded them to 10. I decided giving up two scoring drives was being generous enough.

I personally love that out of town stupid seem to think the Eagles will win.

The guy today from profootballtalk was basing it on (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky not playing well in the big game against the Rams with no knowledge that he was coming back from a shoulder injury and hadn't played in two weeks. He also didn't look at the playoff level game (at least from the Viking D perspective) Mitch played last week.

The Bears loss one game at home, and it was with Mack basically out because he was so injured. That game was to the Patriots, and they were about a foot away from tying it in the closing seconds.

Losing that game also required them giving up two touchdowns on special teams.

A repeat of the last time the Bears played Foles would be ideal: https://www.nfl.com/gamecenter/20151115 ... bears@rams

Never mind the only reason the Eagles in the playoffs is because the Bears didn't half-ass the game last week.

The Eagles absolutely have a fair chance to win ... but the sucking off they seem to get outside of Chicago is at irrational levels, like my blood pressure.

All but one of the Philly writers take the Eagles: http://www.philly.com/eagles/eagles-bea ... 90104.html

I recall Vegas saying that the Vikings are a better team than Philadelphia last week. Maybe I'm being too much of a homer, but I think the Bears are just a significantly better team. While anything can happen, the Bears should win by at least 10 points.

The bottom line is the Eagles are playoff proven, and the Bears are not. That counts for something.

The Bears are more talented at, oh, probably 75% of the starting positional players.

The Eagles have a good pass rush, but their secondary is terrible. If the Bears can give Mitch any sort of time and establish any sort of a run game, they should win by two scores. I'll stand by my prediction earlier in the thread of the Bears winning by 10-13 points.

Prediction: Bears 24, Eagles 20
This guy here gets it.

The 2017-18 Eagles won playoff games. The 2018-19 team has won nothing. There was significant change there.

And with the history of Super Bowl losers not even making the playoffs the next year, being playoff proven means almost nothing in the modern NFL.

I don't think its a determining factor in the game, but I think it helps some of the Philly players in knowing how to deal with some of the extra stress and pressure.

That said, outside of one half in Miami, Nagy seems to have his team more than prepared for anything that comes at them.

Jeffrey scares me because of his size and I'm not positive about the front 7 creating enough pressure.

This is so true.

Everybody just wants to make their dart-stab right, instead of actually basing their pick upon the facts. The USA Today lady who was on with Rosey & Grote on NYE was the same way. You could almost feel the Score guys giving a wink to each other that she was talking out of her ass.

People outside of Chicago just don't really know the Bears quite yet.

Like I have said before, though, for perspective, I would take this unit over the 2000 Ravens any day of the week, plus Sunday.

It is laziness. They are hoping that their pick comes through so it can be overlooked.

When has the healthy front 7 not gotten pressure?

Those 50/50 balls to Jeffry take too long to develop and wont be available.

He has a catch radius that is superior to any receiver the Bears have faced this season.

I know the Redskins are atrocious, but the fact that they put up only 89 total yards of offense against the Eagles is troubling.

But the Bears interior OL is looking great. If they neutralize Cox, then forget about it.

Losing Callahan is also weighing heavy on my mind because Foles & Agholor have great chemistry - that’s undeniable.

Which running back gave the Bears their most difficult challenge this season? LeGarrette Blount. And they ain’t got that homo anymore. That’s a key difference between the Super Bowl Eagles and this year’s version.

Trevathan & Roquan on Ertz and Goeddert will be huge.

This is where I see the key matchup on defense for the Bears.

Stories are being written about Alshon in every paper and that chump hasn't had a 1,000 yard season since 2014, even in heavy passing offenses.

The Philly o-line is good, they should get credit for that. It'll be a good matchup there. Alshon can be neutralized. It's ertz that is the problem.

So I agree with GD

Their running game sucks. It's almost non-existent. Just like (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky's deep ball. Hopefully we won't need that from him though.

Josh Adams has been coming along. Smallwood is kind of just ok. They never really commit to the run very much though. This scares me. Ultimately, I think the Bears will win. I am just rooting for zero injuries and a great game.

Starting to get that mix of nerves and anticipation for this game. Feels like time is slowing down before kick-off.

I forgot they picked up Golden Tate too. This may be a game (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky has to prove why he's going to be the franchise QB.
