Eagles experience gives them the edge . A couple turnovers give them a short field , forces Mitch to throw which isn’t good . This is 84 Bears redux. One year early . Eagles 27 Bears 17

Does that make their experience null and void then? Does that not make this Mitch's first playoff game ?

I certainly think it adds perspective on their expeirience given the record of home teams in the playoffs. The patriots have playoff experience. The eagles made one lucky playoff run

This is the first road playoff game for most of the eagles

I think that is a good point. The Eagles do have the experience and anything can happen in a football game (ie: the Eagles, with a backup QB, out-dueling the Patriots in the SB!). You are also very much correct that this is Mitchy's first playoff game. Plus, I don't really like how almost everyone is picking the Bears to win (we usually do better as an underdog). But, that being said, we do have a stellar defense and our offense is ok. We definitely have a shot, but at this point, I don't think any game is guaranteed anymore for the Bears. That's just the playoffs! Still, should be exciting!

We need to generate turnovers again!!!

Im pretty sure they're not really going to be bothered playing on the road after winning the SB last year. Doesn't mean they wont get beat but I don't think it will be because they're terrified at the thought of playing on the road.

You see how that dimishes your playoff experience theory?

Mitchell (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky will rise to the challenge today and do great things.

Vic Fangio's defense will perform at an '85 level of dominance.

Matt Nagy will lead the Burly Mammoth Gladitors to a convincing victory.

The roar, swagger and pride return to the Lakefront forever.

The Superfans shed their mustaches and aviators for visors and bald heads.

This is a colossal day in history for our Beloved, my friends.

GO BEARS!!!

(Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky needs to focus so he doesn't have a similar game as Watson had last night.

It's going to limit the motion shovel pass. That's 30% of the Red Zone offense.
