They should have played scrubs and lost to Minnesota. It would have also given their starters a "bye" by not having to play. The Eagles came in hot as hell and they have a rabbit's foot up their ass when Foles plays. It was a terrible combination of factors working against the Bears. And I firmly believe that if they had escaped the first round, they could have gone to the Super Bowl. The first round is always the tricky one, especially for young teams.

They didn't play particularly well in the 1st half, they got jobbed on the "catch but oops" incomplete (moral of the story, always fall on the ball), and without Burton they had trouble with the 2-point conversion.

Still, with a decent kicker they would have been the #2 seed anyway and they'd be playing Dallas next week.
