Fuck it.. bring in Rex Ryan. We’ll most likely only get 1 season out of him before his giant ego blows everything up.. but it would be one helluva season. He’d also be a coordinator that the players would like/respect due to his success and reputation.

It has to be someone with a reputation imo. You can’t replace a highly respected reputable coordinator with someone that doesn’t have that type of clout. Not that there are zero examples of it working, but I think you need to get a real known and accomplished coordinator in here. That’s why I half jokingly mentioned Rex Ryan

As long as they run a 3-4 system they should be okay with the same personnel. Obviously they want the best coach they can get. If Fangio goes then they just find the next best available guy.

That's what my guy is telling me too.

Broncos blocked a couple of teams from interviewing Gary Kubiak, who holds a front office position with them.

I can't imagine Fangio is the type who would take a HC position with a coordinator (and one with lots of head coaching experience and a close friendship with the GM) being imposed on him.

Bears should be able to get any DC they want. Who wouldn't want to coach a defense with Roquan, Mack, Hicks and the secondary.
