MB is the safer pick of the two which is what concerns me. he is active semi polished strong, will be able to rebound, can shoot from 15 and in, will post consistant good numbers, but the fact is that he is the safe pick because it is an easier position.

The team does not revolve around the PF. If he is having a bad shooting night or a bad rebounding night others can step in.

If the PG is outplayed and can't stop the other teams PG, every will play worse.

They need to go for what COULD be the best possible player and that is D Rose!

Despite your points, I disagree with your above statement. MB has maturity issues, no back to the basket game and a defensive liability. Plus, I still question is actual height.

DR only real limitation is his jump shot. That should develop with time.
