Agreed. He’s arguing against something nobody is saying.

Also, every "young" coach being hired is an experienced playcaller

The Jets doing their best to ensure that the AFC East remains a complete joke outside of the Patriots with the Gase hire.

You're not going to find many coaches with the pedigree of a guy like McVay. A lot of teams are focusing on young offensive coaches without understanding this. Shaking the Reid tree makes more sense. Besides MANY believe that Nagy is the best young coach in the NFL.

Nobody outside of Chicago believes that and I doubt anyone has been a bigger Nagy guy since day 1 than me. He’s a great coach.

The Packers found the perfect match for Rodgers. Not even I could have come up with a better match. They'll spend countless nights in his office.

McVay and it’s honestly no contest right now. Nagy has to do it in year 2 for it to even become a discussion. We all know this. Why you making me state the obvious? That’s a leash move.

Cam Newton looks more like Dante Culpepper as the years go by. 1 tremendous season and a bunch of seasons not living up to expectations.

Darnold looked good after Week 11. He wants a QB to carry him for another decade. Good for the Jets for not falling for the resume like vegan fan would have.

Cam Newton is a Hall of Famer and on his way to making that first ballot.

HOF? Newton? GTFO here.. that's almost as bad as Bama VS Bills horseshit.

He’s already a QB with unprecedented production - in NFL history, an MVP, and a SB appearance.

There is absolutely no doubt Cam Newton is going to the HOF. By the time he retires his numbers are going to be extraordinary.

I generally agree with this. I don't know if it is injuries. I don't think I trust him to win a game for me.

He's playing in a different era so I would pump the brakes even though they let everyone in. Is Matt Ryan a HoF QB? Not in my world.

Wrong, he's been in the league for 8 years..he's ONE HOF year. No chance . None.

Of course not. Cam’s success rushing the ball and influence in helping to change the direction of the position would clearly be the main reasons he’s inducted. There’s no comparison to Matt Ryan there.

I feel fine pumping the breaks on a lot of guys. Unlike most sports the NFL HOF is pretty exclusive. Cam is going to a be no brainer though when he finishes his career with 80+ rushing TDs to go along with all his other credentials.

I don't want to steal your loot, merely sober you up and educate you.

How many QBs from 2010-2020 will make the HOF? Looking for a number, not names.

You used an MVP and a SB appearance to justify Cam being a HoFer. Matt Ryan has the same thing and pretty numbers too. Neither of us think he's a HoF player.

Cam didn't change the direction of the position. Warren Moon and Randall Cunningham did that. Donovan McNabb and Michael Vick did that.

Newton looks like he's too cool to care about the game. He's more focused on his brand. That's essentially dressing like a clown or a young lady daily.

I have no idea. Names would need to be included though. I can only go with current guys

Brady
Rodgers
Brees
Ben

Those guys are no doubters. I think Rivers should get in and might. Eli might but definitely shouldn’t. I think Cam and Wilson will deservedly get in but they have more to do. Too early to tell on everyone else imo.

That one season gets him there, but he’s been pretty meh the rest of his career. His numbers aren’t really all that great.
