Kurt Warner makes for a better example. Turned out to have an amazing pro career. The media not only shoved him down our throats, but we got his wife as well. It was nauseating. Didn't take anything away from what I thought of him as a quarterback.

From what I recall hearing from some of sports talk, the dude walked the talk....really was that genuine of a good person in real life. Few predicted Tebow to be an NFL QB. The results proved he was garbage. His minor league baseball numbers are pedestrian but for some reason, people just can't let it go, so his name is pushing him up the ranks. Whatever. Glad he's not a White Sox problem.

Our church puts on one of these events every year. My wife and I volunteered a couple of years ago to greet guests and get them in the door and also
to work the red carpet. Really cool event and I knew he was really involved in similar events. Seems to be a real genuine person when it comes to the
humanitarian efforts.
