It's such a shame he retired way too early and then gave up on the Sirius show. We missed out on 10 + good years of radio and now he's gone. As Phil Hendrie said "Hilly Rose sucks"

I like his work but most of my listening has been done through youtube clips. I imagine the show could get monotonous as a daily

There were lots of topics that he covered in a unique way. Political, Off the Grid, Ufo's, secret societies, Military projects and Secret gvt facilities, Geo engineering, history and ancient civilizations, religion and origins.

When he gave it over to Noory, George introduced a ton of crap like haunted houses and spiritual stuff into the show that made it very pick and choosy.

When Bell came out with Midnight in the Desert, It was as I remembered it. I also enjoyed that it started at 11:00 CT instead of Midnight.

I still listen to Midnight in the Desert here or there on the weekends. Its now done by Dave Schraeder and he does a good job of getting good guests and making it interesting. I follow the facebook page and he puts out who will be on the show ahead of time so I can pick and choose.

The listen is more nostalgic for me as my dad was a night driver for family vacations and we'd listen to it on the road.

I, for one, miss Art. Don't care for Noory. Ian Punnet can be okay as a fill-in.
