I thought Moon appeared in one, should have if not for the epic choke job vs the Bills. Fouts was a unique case, kind of a unicorn at his position for the time(Dignfied Rube vibe). So you can overrule the formula in extreme cases, I still stand by it.

I must say I enjoy seeing Phillip Rivers lose.

I used to hate Rivers because he and Cutler hated each other. After Cutler played a season or two with the Bears, I became a huge Rivers fan.

Same.

Now that Cutler is gone, I dislike Rivers again.

I feel like if Rivers had the exact same career with the Bears that fans would be ready to run him out of town.

He's Dan Marino

Rivers has numbers that will most likely get him in. Eli has numbers and rings that will definitely get him in.

Impossible to make that comparison. They played under such different rules. Marino would shatter every record if he played under today's rules. And I'm not a big Marino guy.

So losing in the playoffs at New England is a dealbreaker for the HOF?

No being a playoff failure for your entire 15 year NFL career is the dealbreaker.

Rivers will be in the HoF, so you should probably prepare yourself now.

Comparing Rivers to Marino is one of the worst sports thoughts I've ever seen here.

Really Nas SHOULD edit all of 312's terrible sports thoughts, into less terrible sports thoughts.

I agree, more censorship of 312 would be entertaining for all.

I feel Bob’s pain. It’s how I feel about Eli. I refuse to prepare myself for a world in which he’s a HOFer.

I don't think the default position is "he's in unless you can prove he's not in".

At some point, some QB will pay the price and not get in due to playing in this ridiculous QB's cant be touched era. It wont be Eli or Rivers though.

One of the Matt's (Stafford or Ryan) will have better numbers than most QB's in history and they wont get in-and they shouldn't.

I like the Saints a lot more than the Eagles but found myself rooting for Foles to make the run just to have something to shove in the face of the pro-Eli people.

I think that should be the case but I'm honestly not sure whether it will be or not. NFL people are too obsessed with traditional stats and I can already find a bunch of articles calling Stafford a Hall of Famer.
