Well, look who's descending from Twitter Mountain to mingle with the commoners. Now you're thinkin'. We value getting in front of 300 slappies in a gin mill for a show for the grass roots level promotion, why the fuck wouldn't we value the 300 or so slappies here?

Fire away. The Kid likes talking about things, especially radio, weed and himself.

Parkins, where do you see radio in 10 years? Will the podcast genre destroy radio or could we see radio reverting back to less corporate influence to bring it back to a more personal connection, ala the Score in the early days?

Parkins, I spent a lot of time in the KC area and took in a lot of KC sports talk. Just wondering what your opinion is of Kevin Kietzman? I was a regular listener of KK back in the early days when he helped lead a walkout of fans at the Royals game. People in KC seem to either love the dude or absolutely HATE him....a little like people around Chicago with Bernsie. Any good stories with him?

Parkins, don't you think it is somewhat emasculating to Kansas that the state of Missouri has taken the name Kansas City and made it their own? And it's a real city too -- not some sleepy dump like Michigan City, Indiana. Do you think the Kansans ever petitioned and tried to make Missouri change the name to Missouri City? Well if they did, tough luck because there is already a Missouri City, Missouri elsewhere in the state. Looks like Missouri has all the angles covered in city naming. Just looking for your thoughts.

A few Questions:

Why don't you guys ever try to get crazy with getting top guests on? I mean maybe even Top Guests from time to time who maybe aren't even trying to shamelessly plug anything.

It would be cool to have Mike Tyson on, or have a recurring segment where you like have a top or even an up-and-coming comedian on every Thursday or something. How has local guy Pat McGann or other local comedians never been on a show?

Kind of like how Joe Rogan, etc. does it. Shit, have him on! You don't have to be tied to sports or even touch politics to be super "Interesting Radio".

Are you guys somehow afraid of being shown-up by a more charismatic guest?

I love how you do things, I just think that you could be doing it so much better - and bigger.

Heard Parkins say he got a new 2 year deal today( congrats) imo he's the best host in town.. he also joked he's in a new tax bracket ( HA! fuck you Larry) so how big a raise buddy?

I'm guessing he went from 140k to 205 k yearly.
