No shit. That FG looked like it would have been good from 70.

Yeah, CJ Anderson and his whopping 2.8 YPC today. Sit this one out pal.

Scoreboard. Apology accepted.

Gurley 1TD
Anderson 0TD

Rams won despite dumb head coach trying to take him out of the game. Stick to taking The Hawk behind the woodshed, you are good at that.

You think the coach benched Gurley? Did you even watch the game? Parkey-esque performance by you here my friend.

That's too nice. Even Parkey hits 80% of them.

Entering the fourth quarter, Gurley had just three carries in the game and didn’t get a single touch in the entire third quarter. After the game, Sean McVay explained the thought behind Gurley’s lack of involvement in the biggest game of the year.

“It was a flow for the game. I thought Todd’s run from the 5 on the two-minute drive was outstanding. I think what personifies Todd is this is an MVP-caliber player and he just kept fighting, he just kept supporting his teammates,” McVay said. “He’s going to have an instrumental role against whoever we play, whether it be the Patriots or the Chiefs.

No, CJ Anderson isn't any good, no matter what you fucking knuckleheads say.

If Gurley doesn't score that TD, they lose. Thanks for playing.

No, someone else would have.

Did Gurley touch the ball after they were down 20-10 in the 3rd quarter and the Rams came back and won?

Anderson didn't do shit for that comeback either. Why are you in love with this bum?

I’m not. I’m saying the decision didn’t matter and based on you being unable to answer my question directly I’ll take that as an admittance off wrong and an apology. You gotta get better at both of those with how often your wrong.

They experienced the same thing in 2006; they'll be fine.

As Vinovich prepared to call a college basketball game between Saint Mary’s and BYU on Thursday, a student in the front row at the Marriott Center dared address the elephant in the room, asking repeatedly, “Was it pass interference?”

The answer: “I don’t want to talk about that stuff.”

Another fan had a sign that read, “Don’t screw these Saints, Bill,” which a BYU broadcaster said Vinovich asked be removed during a media timeout. Fans chanted “Bill! Bill! Bill!” when a turnover was reversed in favor of the Cougars.

I don't think making the refs full time is any kind of guarantee against bad calls, but the fact that this guy has to turn around and work college basketball games makes it seem like the most obvious first reform instead of nonsense about reviewing pass interference or adding officials for the playoffs.

Maybe time to retire for Vinovich; hard to see any sort of Jim Joyce blowing a perfect game and then exchanging hugs with the pitcher after the fact mea cupla feel-good out for him here.

Refs always decide big-games, been that way forever, will be that way ad infinitum. This no-call isn't any bigger than the bs offensive PI called on the Seahawks in the end-zone on the opening drive of XL. Just like the WWE, the NFL has narratives/story-lines they put their thumb on the scale in favor of; and for whatever reason, changing of the guard?, they wanted Shane McMeh and Conor McGoff in this Super Bowl. You'd think a penultimate-to-final clash between Brees-Brady would've made a better story-line; likely some bean-counter/data analyst in the NFL front-office realized the NFL's in danger of becoming an old white guy sport and so nixed Brees' Saints in favor of the next generation team.
