They are currently bargain bin shopping.

I can see why as cutting Parkey and signing a working veteran would be prohibitive.

I guess my recommendation would be that if they are trying to fine a minimum salary kicker as a replacement, find me the best college kicker.

Probably. I'm not sure that he has deserved all of the hate given him by fans but he really didn't deliver what they expected out of him. ANd going forward, the Bears really couldn't take the PR chance to keep him did they? THink of the greater than ever pressure on him if he was their kicker next year.
