I like it, he's a better SS than Manny and he knows it, everybody knows it. Machado needs to play 3rd base no matter who he signs with. Jeter wouldn't let Aroid play SS and Aroid was a better SS than Jeter. It's no good for the team to have divas.

I don't know if I would go that far. He certainly has some offensive skills. His defense, while improved, is definitely not worthy of a premium position on a Championship team.

My overall point isn't that Anderson has earned nothing, its that he has not earned the right to be the starting SS over somebody of Manny Machado's ilk.

ARod was sloppy in Seattle and Texas often tipping off hitters with his positioning. There's a reason the Yankees kept Jeter in the middle of the field and it ain't because the other guy was better.
