Damn. I automatically picked the Unit because he’s my favorite but Pedro for $2 has to be the best value on the board.

Young Rickey and Junior are clearly the right choices. We can all agree Pedro at 2 is a steal.

Rivera isn't five times the closer Kimbrel is, what a splurge

Kimbrel has more saves (333) than hits allowed (285). That's an insane stat.

I hope its a regular season game for the sake of Maddux, Kershaw, ARod, and Bonds.

Now I'm trying t figure out my batting order. I think I'd go with this:

1. Ricky R
2. Mauer L
3. Trout R
4. Miggy R
5. Mookie R
6. Harold L
7. Arenado R
8. Utley L
9. Jeter R

I love the on base monsters up top then bring the thunder in the middle. Jeter is another leadoff guy in the 9 hole. That lineup would score a million runs.

My team would murder your team. I have 6 guys that can hit 500 ft home runs.

Meh. Team Roid Monster. I'd sneak in the clubhouse and steal all the syringes. Your boys won't be able to make it to the post.

We did this about a year ago. I'm sure my answer is different now than it was then.

$5 Trout CF
$3 Utley 2B
$3 Martinez DH
$5 Bonds LF
$2 Walker RF
$2 Thome 1B
$1 Posada C
$1 Rolen 3B (for defense with a RH pitcher on the mound)
$1 Smith SS (for defense with a RH pitcher on the mound)

$5 Maddux SP
$5 Rivera CL

If Frank Thomas was available for $4 to play 1B, I'd go with him over Thome and drop from Maddux to Pedro.

I was going to take Thome at 1st, but I realized that I had extra money, so my juicer is Miggy.

I still remember how much of a pain in the ass Molitor was and then had to reluctantly pass on both Sox HOFers.

He was a pain in the ass. Good thing Mike Sweeney or Nick Punto weren’t on the list.

My players shorten their lives and shrink their dicks to win. That's dedication. They know how to put on a show for the fans. You couldn't beat me at my place.

You’re forgetting about my ace in the hole. I have the biggest, nastiest, ugliest left hander to ever toe the rubber. There’s no amount of back pimples or shrunken nut sacks that could possibly intimidate him.

Thanks to this thread, I watched some old Randy Johnson highlights. Easy to forget what a badass that guy was. The Kruk at-bat in the ASG is one of those all-time sports moments where you know you're watching greatness.

Pedro was amazing too for those few years but in a completely different way.

That was a great era for baseball, roids or not.
