That’s not even true. Portis right now is a better player than Porter Jr ever was, but not even to enough of a degree where this even helps us tank. It just adds a $25 million cap hit for a Denzel Valentine quality player for no reason.

Yes, it probably isn’t going to kill us long term, it’s just a dumb trade with no logic behind it. Something we should be used to this far along in the GarPax era I guess.
