Who the hell watches WGN News that is under the age of 50? And of those viewers none of them is going there for their sports information. Goff talking about sports for less than 5 minutes to a bunch of uninterested, middle-aged folks is inconsequential.

As bad as Spain is when trying to so standard sports talk, she is actually very good in the Dan LeBatard universe. Dan was sick on Friday and she did about half the show with Stugotz. While they barely talked sports, they were a good listen together because she gets that show.

But with Goff? Train wreck. Poor Hood had some guy named Emmitt on with him last night subbing for Dickerson on the national weekend feed, and the guy was atrocious. That's where Goff should be subbing because Hood would bitch slap him when needed.

The ESPN show really seemed like one long block of commercials broken up by updates and occasional six minutes of attempted sports talk. The format doomed that show yesterday afternoon imo. But Jason would be a better option as well

As for Spain, I can't take her 1000 word monologues on any of the shows. But on the other hand, she clearly prepares for anything she's on.
