He had a coach that is an off ice official that he goes and says hi to when he goes to games. He wasn't there but while they were waiting to see if he was in the box a guy came up to them and said would you like to be our kid for shoot the puck. I guess hanging around the offices in a Toews jersey and a championship hat signed by 7 people makes you look like a fan that would want to shoot the puck. He was so excited. I wish I was there.

Jonathan Toews takes a huge portion of the salary cap and is a 3rd line center. He hasn't been "Toews" since 2015.

Goalie is a problem - Crawford is done.
Defense is old, slow, and expensive.

Stan is trying to dig his way out of the cap mess he created, but I just don't see the defense where it needs to be. That's taking nothing away from Patrick Kane playing out of his mind awesome.

Having Strome and losing weight helped him a lot.

No. They’ll miss playoffs again.

They should be in the mix for the playoffs but they are not a legitimate Cup contender. They have added two solid defensive defensemen who if healthy should help improve their defense. If Crawford somewhat reverts to his former self, their stars continue to perform, and they get a couple unexpected contributions, they will make the playoffs.

Toews is killing the team with salary and lack of production. The defense in general was horrible last year and might o only get a tick better but probably not.
They're probably not a top 8 contender.

His 2 seasons prior were concerning, but at this point he earned the benefit of the doubt with his bounce-back season, I mean even CH didn't criticize Toews last year
