Al Horford owned Embiid last May. Things haven’t changed I guess.

Steph Curry has average to below average speed. You think he’s terrible defensively too(I don’t agree obviously).

So it’s his decision making that is the difference between him being a 2x MVP or a bench player?

You have to start being right about something at some point. I don't when it will be but there is hope.

Trae Young might just be the worst defensive point guard that I have ever seen.

Since Secondly and more pertinent is the fact that Steph is about 3 inches taller and significantly longer. Know they list Trae at 6'2 but there is no way that he is anywhere near 6'2. As bad as Steph happens to be defensively he is light years ahead of Trae. Steph is also much better offensively. That makes a difference defensively. His offensive prowess, much like Harden, cancels out his shitty defense. Young will never be able to say that.

It doesn’t. It was a big story after the Celtics kicked Phillys ass last year and it’s the story of tonight.

As I said previously you've been wrong about Philly every step of the way. I expect it to continue going forward.

To be honest Simmons sold them out during the playoffs last season. You're loathe to admit it because he is a guy you like. Tatum completely outclassed him. Embiid didn't cost them. You don't care for him so you constantly bash him all the time.

Fact remains the guy is an MVP candidate and the main reason they are as good as they are. End of story.

I think they are the best team in the East now but I said they have a Boston problem. That seems to be true. Boston was also without its best player tonight. A guy you thought was a top 5 MVP candidate last year.

I know we do this a lot but you can’t pull the “you’re always wrong” card when I’m saying something true. It doesn’t work like that.

They are losing. It happens. Saying they have a "Boston" problem says what exactly? Boston is a good team. Philly has a ton of new guys. They have to work a few things out.

They will be right there. You didn't have them contending for anything possibly ever. No matter what happens they are light years ahead of whatever you thought they'd be. So yeah when I say you're always wrong you sort of are.

Yup. My fault I didn’t know they would have Tobias Harris and Jimmy Butler and a healthy Embiid two years ago. That’s why my opinion should forever be discounted.

This is why this section sucks and has for a couple years now.

The section sucks because you constantly ridicule and bash everyone else's opinions all the time. You don't respect anyone's opinion and even when you're wrong you still act as if you're right.

I also didn't know that Philly would have an inept GM that would completely screw up a top draft pick and devalue another one either. I still rolled with it. Philly was going to be good whether they added Butler and Harris or not. They won 52 games last season with their best player sitting out back to backs, resting, and missing the last 16 games of the year.

They are winning with Butler and Harris. They aren't winning because of them. Its spin.

I respect your opinions. Go over the last several exchanges of ours and tell me who was more personal/disrespectful. I promise it wasn’t me.

I admit I used to go the route you’re currently going but I’ve consciously tried to avoid just telling someone they are wrong or ridiculous and instead just explain why without name calling. Come with me on this journey brother.

Magic n LeBron getting played is what really hurts the team, they were an 8 seed if everything went smooth.

It's good. I will refrain from it. I have beat the drums on it a little lately as a means of slowing it down. I'm good.

Don't know. I had them out even without the trade stuff. They are in the rough part of the schedule now. A lot of Guaranteed L's in there.

Yeah..they weren't gonna be good no matter what, tearing apart the locker room only compounds the problem. It was really dumb for magic to sign LeBron, even dumber for LeBron to sign there, the core is garbage.

It was smart to sign LeBron. I don’t think they’ll miss the playoffs this year but even if they do it was the best step to compete for a title within the next few years.

They won't compete for a title at any point during Lebron's time there.

He is aging. Happens to everyone. By the time they get good he will be 36 years old at least. He and AD won't be enough to contend. It's over

They could trade assets for AD and then sign Kyrie this summer. I don’t think it’ll happen but it’s certainly a plausible scenario and then they are instant title contenders.

I think you’re with me on the MJ > LeBron without a doubt thing, but don’t sleep on LeBron. He’s still pretty great. Pair him with another superstar next year and it’s gonna be a tough team to beat. Pair him with 2 and he’s probably the Finals favorite or co-favorite.

They don't have enough to land AD, it was a pipe dream. I don't see Kyrie going there, even if he does.. they aren't winning a ring. Top 15 guys aren't thrilled with the idea of being LeBron's bitch, he's getting older and his ego grows by the day..he's gonna launch LW at seasons end and bring in a worse coach.

He would need 2 in order to contend. He is still a great player. I wouldn't say he is the best player anymore. Doesn't even try on Defense. I don't think it will be as easy as just pairing him with another superstar either He will need a minimum 2 and he'd also have to defer. I don't think he wants to do that however.

I hope you’re right but I’m not sure you are.

If the Celtics think Tatum is untouchable it will be tough to beat the Lakers best offer, and this is coming from someone who likes Jaylen Brown a lot. That Kings pick isn’t worth shit and the Grizz pick is too hard to value properly still(just like how everyone thought that Kings pick would be worth a ton a year or two ago).

I hate both of you for making me defend LeBron but you guys are counting him out far too early if you’re saying he’s done competing for titles. That’s ridiculous. He’s an all time great. He will need help like they all do but he’s not done.

Now that John Wall got drunk and ruptured his Achilles you might be right. Still think Russ is faster too tho.

Fun game so far. I don’t watch them as much as most teams but I see why y’all like the Kings. Fun team.

The Kings will be giving teams the flux for years to come. They have some really good young talent.
