It's not that big of a gap. To win in today's game, you have to have 2 superstars. It has always been that way, sort of. Golden State has 2 top five players and a few more who are right up there.

Defensively he could be better and he also isn't much of a passer. To be honest he has enough talent around him to make the playoffs and be a top 4-5 seed.

Guys on here relentlessly bashed my Man Melo. He made the playoffs in a tougher West the first 9 years of his career. If Davis is the guy 2 out of 7 is inexcusable.

Without research or looking it up I would posit that he had the best postseason run in history if you look at eye test vs stats. Iirc his stats weren’t even all that good but I’m sure you remember me starting a mea culpa thread on here saying how much I liked watching it even though I was vehemently anti-Dirk prior to that. (And that was prior to him beating Miami!)

I have no problem with someone saying Giannis and others are better during the regular season. If it's game 7 of the Finals there is zero chance I'm taking someone other than LeBron out of all active players
