So Amazon is investing billions into developing quality original content for their streaming service.

There is already some good stuff on there, but this trailer looks very promising.

I know nothing about the book, but I know who Neil Gaiman is.

Good Omens trailer #1:

Also, Peeps, I watched the trailer for White Dragon last night. I am interested.

Meh, I feel Amazon is lagging in original content

They have yet to produce a show that can touch Netflix's best.

With that said, I'm glad they picked up The Expanse after SyFy canceled it.

Haven't seen Goliath but Bosch is solid.

Agree with Ogie as well. The Expanse is a great science fiction series. Looking forward to 4th and 5th seasons on Prime.

Sneaky Pete is okay. I liked Man in the High Castle though I haven't seen the 3rd season yet.

Good Omens was a good book, so I'm in. Prime also has Justified, so...

I still can't believe they pulled the plug on the Jean Claude Van Damme show. It was glorious.

Mrs Maisel is just as good if not better than anything original on Netflix.

Can they make multiple seasons out of this story?

Just finished Jack Ryan season 1. I really enjoyed it. Just 8 episodes so not a huge commitment.

My wife and I watched the 6th season of Catastrophe over the last 2 evenings. That is just a perfect adult sitcom. Sad the series is ending. It's a fun, easy watch.

I enjoyed that show, too. Rob Delaney and Sharon Horgan remind me of Will Ferrell and Katherine Keener.

Yeah it is a pretty enjoyable series, part serious and a lot of funny. Sometimes better for a show to leave while it is still good and having something to say rather than dragging it out one season too long.

Just finished Hanna. It was ok. Pretty much what I expected with a predictable plot. Cast was excellent and sold the mediocre plot.

My wife wanted to give it a try. We don't watch a lot of TV...mostly sports. I've learned from past experience to keep the criteria simple and just appreciate the fact that she doesn't want to watch anything that's "based on a true story" or "a compelling drama" or "starring Judith Light".

My wife is into the ID channel. She asked me to increase my life insurance last week...

Last night, I saw a provocative movie on cable TV. It was called The Net, with that girl from the bus.

Yeah new programming has struggled.

Have been rewatching The Expanse and Justified.

I have greatly enjoyed Grantchester and Endeavor. They are British murder mystery stories set in the '60s. If you like period pieces and murder mysteries, give these a shot.
