That whole shooting thing is kinda big deal in today's NBA, especially for a guard.

At least Lonzo has size and can niche a role on defense. What can a midget that can't shoot do?

He is in a better situation than the kid from the Clippers. The Clippers aren't putting the ball in G-A's hands like Atlanta is doing with Young. They are a better team than Atlanta. He will be allowed to play through his mistakes and chuck 14-17 times a game and not be called on it. That is why his numbers (which aren't all that spectacular) are meaningless. Atlanta gets blown out a lot. He looks better than the kid in Cleveland but I think G-A will turn out to be the better pro in the long run.

Time is a truth teller.

Double digit assists. Stockton a classic example. A system guy who was very selective in his shots and played dirty to compensate for his midgetness.

Not what I meant. At all. Midgets under certain circumstances, can play in the league without being great shooters. But they gotta be tough motherfuckers. Young's going to have to toughen up. A LOT.

Trae has a competitive edge to him. It showed in those games cause he dominated SGA and Sexton in all matchups. Trae pays attention to the off court stuff and came to play vs those guys.

Trae vs Sexton:
Game 1:
Trae = 35 pts (13/23), 11a, 1TO, Win
Sexton = 4 pts (2/11) 2a, 2TO

Game 2:
Trae = 24pts (9/13), 4a, 3to, Loss
Sexton = 17pts (4/10), 3a, 3to

Game 3:
Trae = 21pts (8/16), 9a, 3to Win
Sexton = 18pts (6/15), 6a, 0to

Trae vs SGA
Game 1:
Trae: 25pts (8/22), 17a, 6to, loss
SGA: 16pts (5/9), 1a, 3to

Game 2:
Trae: 26pts (10/18), 8a, 1to, Win
SGA: 11pts (5/7), 2a, 2to

Trae has won every individual matchup he's had with those guys. Even shot over 50% in every game except one and that game he compensated with 17 assists.

Kid is a gamer.

20 pts (8/15, 4/6) 11 assists. Starting to become predictable.

Has Orlando today. Wonder if Fultz will suit up so we can finally figure out who's the better player.

He got 37 put up on him and they were blownout. Again. Wonder how much of the 20 was scored once the game was already decided.

He's climbing up the efficiency ladder offensively. I imagine the All Star break will be used to reset some priorities and figure out some strategies for the other end.

13 pts (3/9, 1/2), 7 assists, 5 boards. Didn't shoot great from 2, but only took 9 shots total.

http://www.nba.com/article/2019/02/13/about-last-night-2-12-19

Great article on NBA.com about how Trae took it to Lebron last night.

Didn't shoot well, but played great and down the stretch hit some big shots in winning time. Also loaded up on highlight reel assists throughout the game.

22 pts (6/19, 3/9), 14 assists, 6 boards.

Kid is well on his way to becoming an all star. Same with Collins. Huerter looks very good as well. Don't sleep on the Hawks, they might be next year's Sacramento Kings.

wow, you are desperate and pathetic.

Getting harder and harder for you to find bad shooting games for Trae, huh? Had to wait till he had an off shooting night the night before the all star break. Still had 11 assists.

And then a few hours after you post that Trae goes out and looks like a future superstar in the rising stars game.

Keep trying troll, you'll keep getting clowned.

Finished with 30 pts (11/23, 5/11) 10 assists. Right where he left off a week ago in the rising stars game.

Kid is something special. Looking forward to tonight's game vs Phoenix.

Last 2 games opposing guards have given him 32 and 29 points respectively.

Defense is atrociouns. Jackson and Johnson aren't anywhere near elite either.

With Lin gone there's no option but to throw him in the deep end of the pool. He's going to get roughed up. The ball will be looking for Trae's man from here on out.
