There were 3 things wrong with what Trump did.

1.They were presumed guilty before they were proven innocent.

2. Attempted to use the case to reinstitute capital punishment. I don't know of any instance where a person has been put to death for rape. To the best 9f my knowledge this wasn't even a case eligible for capital punishment even if there was capital punishment in New York.

3. They were still teenagers. They weren't exactly career criminals by that point. Were they? He spoke of them as if they were. When you call for the death penalty you are essentially saying that the person is irredeemable. Obviously these kids weren't that.

I don't know if they did or didn't. I don't think the fact they did some violent things to people in the park that night is in dispute. Whether they watched Reyes beat and rape the jogger or they assisted or they were in some other part of the park terrorizing someone else, I don't think we'll ever know. LTG always posts about them like they were some innocents wrongfully accused. One of the guys confessed within 90 minutes with his parents in the room, so it wasn't like he was browbeaten by cops for twenty hours without being given food or something. It's a murky case.

If you aren't talking Trump then what are you talking about then? Trump's reaction was bogus. He presumed them to be guilty without a trial and then still intimated that they were guilty even after they were exonerated.

Now he and others on here are making this false allegation out to be egregious when the only person to be charged is the guy making the false allegation.

Lots of compassion for a ghost. Yeah its bogus and Jussie should smoke (that includes jail time) if convicted but let's not get it twisted.

When all is said and done this is a victimless crime. Pontificating about how MAGA voters were wronged because he claimed to have been attacked by them is bullshit. This after excusing that dickhead for the better part of two years for calling Mexicans rapists, drug dealers, murderers, all Muslims terrorists and all blacks deplorable for lack of a better term, is bullshit.

Isn't it just grand when you simply allow all of the guys that love to respond to each other an opportunity to respond to each other. It does make for a rather congenial and collegial atmosphere if I may say so. For some odd reason that still isn't quite good enough. They are speaking of "coherence" and "responding" even as they proceed to throw Native Anericans and 700 pages into discussions when they weren't previously referenced. Somehow in their message board world that constitutes "coherence". Must be great when all they can do is agree and laugh at each others jokes all day.
