- Tale of Ekati worked well, breezing 6 furlongs in 1:11:99 over a muddy track at Belmont. Trainer was pleased after a subpar workout the week before.
- Ready's Echo worked five furlongs on the Training Track in 1:00:91 and Pletcher called him ready.
- Casino Drive worked in company. Time was reported as 1:10 and 3/5 by the trainer.
- Big Brown was scheduled to have an acrylic/fiberglass patch placed on his hoof today but that has been rescheduled and he will work tomorrow without it.
- Behindatthebar is less then 50/50 to run in the race.

I can't believe there is a Wood Memorial. He's not dead, people, he's just in the bullpen.

I don't see it with Casino Drive. I don't buy the hype. In my eyes he got an easy trip stalking the pace after the connections sent out a rabit to soften up the pace horses. No one in that Peter Pan field was as good as what BB has beaten either. If you're looking for a horse to beat BB, I'd look at Dennis of Cork or Tale of Ekati (if muddy). Maybe even Behindthebar. I won't get shorted on Casino Drive though.
