That was a 40 year old Michael Jordan, fwiw. Though I wish he never performed that stunt with the Wizards.

Jordan was 40 for all of the last two months of his career.

LeBron has already played more regular season and playoff games than M Jeff.

But don't let the truth get in the way of your narrative.

Jordan was 38-40 years old during the Wizards run, a much older player than LeBron James currently is considering the wheels start to fall off for most stars in their mid 30's. It's true that LeBron has played more games and minutes but he's also playing in a far less physically taxing era than the one Jordan played in. We're currently in the middle of an era where any semblance of physicality is outlawed, there's no question that the current rules help extend careers as opposed to the way the league was in the 80's and 90's. Jordan also played 3 years of college ball, that's obviously less games than an NBA season but it still takes a toll on the body.

I don't mind being a torch bearer for Mr. James.

Considering Lebron has not finished his career, I think it is unfair to compare his career to Jordan's.

I never thought it was fair. They aren't in the same class.

And LeBron has played on some teams which are far more talented than some of Jordan's teams. Jordan's rosters his first 3 seasons are about as bad as it gets for a superstar player to be surrounded with.

Don who do you like in the Hickory Terhune matchup tonight?

Jordan made bums very wealthy, only an ignorant dumbass would liken the two.

I know he has lots of friends in the league, but I really hope all the other stars stay away from LA, and let him finish his career in misery. It would be perfect, since he has always looked for the easy way out for years. Hopefully KD, Klay, Kyrie, AD, and any other star stays away.

Even his PR wing is firing on him now: http://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/2613 ... e-disaster

Silver lining is that happened to Magic Johnson to or something.

Here is the embedded version of the last post of LeBron rolling the ball down the court, and letting it go out of bounds:

I don't know why he's seemingly going out of his way to produce all these lowlights. Just in the last couple weeks there was:

Him throwing the inbound pass off the back of the backboard from a turnover
Caught just staring at a wide open 3 point shooter without moving
Getting literally shoved into place on defense by Kuzma
And now the above ridiculous ball rolling thing

Pathetic.

Done on 3-6.

Which is also his NBA Finals record.

It's clear now, how so much of his faux accomplishments were as a result of playing in the shitty Eastern Conference for his first 15 years. First he ducked Kobe and Duncan in their primes, then he ducked the Warriors and Thunder too. I don't think he would have a single NBA finals appearance to his credit if he played in the West(assuming his teammates were the same)

Also need to be sure to mention his team gerrymandering.

Want to add and I forget if it was on ESPN or M&H this morning but that is a big part of Lebron's legacy. He is the one that basically started the players trying to put their teams together with quasi tampering and here we are. The league is worse for it in my opinion.

In his defense, Nick Wright is a fucking idiot from what I can tell.

Seeing this mess with lebron makes me appreciate and miss Kobe even more.

Comparing lebron to MJ is a joke at this point.

I like to hate on Kobe as much as anyone but he won 65 games and a championship with Pau Gasol, 6th man extraordinaire Lamar Odom, and 9 bums. There's zero excuse for LeBron to have the type of season he's having at 34 years old.

Exactly. Kobe was a killer like Jordan.

GOATS don't miss the playoffs in their prime. That's just reality. I'm not even talking Semi's or conf finals. Missing the fucking playoffs! Case closed.

A) look at those bulls rosters again. outside of pippen, only 1 other guy was an allstar just 1 time (armstrong) The aren't THAT great. and wade/bosh is quite a juggernaut comparatively.

B) lebron basically constructed the teams he was on. That is may be possible they aren't as good is more on him than anything.

I think lebron is #2 without a doubt, but the east was fierce in the 90's. it took jordan quite a bit to break through and then when he did he was dominating some crazy competition. He kept plenty of HOF'ers ringless.

the east during most of lebron's reign over it has been historically bad.

If one wants a bit of a chuckle, imagine - if you will - LeBron having to put up with Rodman all night. Not necessarily physically, but Rodman dicking around with him every second he gets a chance to do so ... never mind the constant shit-talking out of MJeff. I'm not trying to make a point as to who's better or whatever, it's just fun to imagine is all.

That said, we're arguing about who is the best between the following:

A guy who should - by talent and physicality - own and command essentially every game he plays in, but defer's more than a failed med student on his loans

vs.

A guy who essentially owned and commanded every game he played in to the point that, for quite a number of years, the prevailing feeling before the first tip from both friend and foe of the Bulls was the Bulls would win that game, and Michael would almost certainly be a/the major reason for it.

Over-generalization? Sure. But not exactly false either.

I'm completely off any disgusting bandwagon I was ever on for Lebron. The GOAT can't be a little bitch who quits on his team, doesn't even attempt to play defense, and blames everyone else for his problems.

Kobe is too harshly judged by advances stats nerds and Jordan lovers. Kobe wanted to murder you, as RFDC said. He was incredible. Rooting against him in the playoffs was torture. He would almost always come back and put the stake through your heart. Closest thing there has ever been to Jordan.
