They'd be wrong. He was the glue that held the defense together. Expect major regression now. With him, Vic, and Callahan gone might be time to start thinking about rebuilding that Bears D.

He is. He was one of the best safeties left on the market and they got him for little more than the Bears paid for one of the worst CBs on the market. And dolphin thinks GB messed up

I hope your Pro Football Focus rankings will comfort you as Amos whiffs on another tackle next year.

Wasn't Ha Ha also well regarded by that group?

He was ranked 2nd out of all Safeties in the NFL at the time of the trade and I believe finished 15th overall in their rankings. Amos was 8th. Notice how I didn't reference them though, their grades are meaningless clickbait.

I watched enough Bears to know Amos is a good football player. I get it though, you need to make yourself feel better about losing him to GB.

Did you watch enough Bears football to see him repeatedly take the wrong angle to the ball last year and in previous years?

I don't think he's ever taken a wrong angle in his life. Imaginary football watching.

And the Bears turn a 5th round pick into a 4th. Nice.

The funny thing about the Adam Hoge tweet is it's the EXACT same thing the Bears did last offseason

What defensive FA did the Bears overpay to get last year?

Stop doing the dumb meatball Packers thing.

It's impossible you're this dumb Frank.

The Bears overpaid for Allen Robinson and Trey Burton last year to make up for shitty drafting. It's literally the exact same thing Hoge is ripping GB for.

Yes, really. Hoge's tweet never mentioned a side of the ball. I think we're done here now.

You should try a little harder when trolling. You couldn't have done worse in this exchange if it was intentional.

  Maybe Caller Bob can explain to you that wide receivers do not play defense, FF.

We should be cutting you some slack though. Once these meaningless FA's are signed, its all downhill for the Packers en route to a 7-9 season. So, have your fun today!

You're coming off as illiterate Frank. Hoge and I never mentioned defense. The point was about overpaying in FA to make up for poor drafting. I would advise learning how to read and then come back and rejoin the discussion.

The two Smith signings along with Turner means Packers can go BPA on 12, 30, and 44. Nice job by Gutekunst today.

Amos REALLY will get exposed if unless you improve that pass rush. Has to be a front 7 player. I told you all last year Wilkerson was washed up but none of ya'll wanted to hear it.

Daniels, Clark, and the two Smith guys are a pretty damn fine start to a front 7. Your guy Blake Martinez holding down the middle too. GB gonna have a hell of a defense next year.

You mentioned defense for no reason though.

Hoge ripped the Packers for overspending in FA. Bears did the exact same thing last year, and proceeded to go 12-4. Hoge made a bad point.

That's it. That's the end of the conversation. Whether a particular FA is offensive or defensive does not change this one bit. Just stop Frank.

Matthews will sign with the Bears on a team friendly contract and have a dead cat bounce year as a pure pass rusher

Nothing would make me happier than seeing the Bears sign Clay Matthews, ESPECIALLY as a pure pass rusher.
