Bell will be injured preseason with a pulled hammy or groin and never be the same. 8 games max this season.

If he got hurt playing for the Steelers, he would have gotten 14 milliion.

Now he is getting 30 million for sure.

Is that correct?

I saw that and other than the headline he doesn't really make the case that Bell's decision was poor. It's more about the deal being Jet friendly.

It seems like he gambled and got more guaranteed money. He probably could have gotten more if he played and stayed healthy, but if he got injured he would have for sure gotten less.
