I think he's only had one shot during the day and it was with the corpse of Dan Hampton. That show was doomed to fail from the start.

He was also Terry's designated sub for many years, which he did while also being the main Bears beat reporter and sometimes vacating his own show to do so. He also got lots of fill-in shifts as the evening host. He hasn't lacked exposure, that's for sure. At least he's a lot better at radio than he was then.

Having guys in for an hour a week based on sports seasons is not a bad strategy. Doing it as a Friday live buffet lunch series once a week may work as well if they can find a sponsor like Miller. He only needs three co-hosts, one for football, one for basketball, and one guy for baseball when the Cubs are on the road.

When I randomly listen to sports radio from 9-6 it's ESPN 1000. The score now is strictly isolated podcasts.

I never listen between 11-4 unless I am driving to the airport or dealing with a medical appointment. So even if I wasn't moving, I'd never hear LoHo again unless he was a guest host on another show.
