Parkins is on a NCAA tournament bender and took the day off so good soldier Matt Spiegel fills in. They sound good together so far .

For real. I always liked Spiegs but I also like Parkins so there is that.

Spiegel sounds better today than the last time he partnered with either Mac or Parkins.

He does good in small doses....which is why a Saturday deal is good for him.

Over the long haul he sucks ass and becomes a huge baby.

Make fun of meatpants physical features or how he has thin skin, he is fucking great at baseball radio. I really missed him during the last baseball season.

I'll pass on listening to sportsradio with a sensitive guy lib Speigel. The only real man left on the day score is Mac, and he likes cocks.

Yeah, my concern would be that he would revert back to that if he were on M - F again.

Good show today.

I've always thought the shows are better when they go on remotes. They sound energized.

There have been some jabs at Parkins through unflattering drops or just a comment here or there.

The show today sounds like two guys hanging out. The other show doesn't sound like that.

90% of SCR hosts suck the longer you listen to them, at least Meatpants starts off at a higher level.

I liked what I heard today. I didn't get to stick around long enough to hear what jersey Mac wanted off the wall at the remote site. Anybody know?

I guess in today’s world a man that likes cock is considered a mans man. I like Spiegel on the radio. I find myself laughing quite a bit when he is on. To me he has the ability to fill time with non-sports content. I can converse with friends all day about sports but hearing some of these guys trying to exhaust a topic when there is absolutely noting left to say is unlistenable. It is ok and sometimes needed to go off topic. A lot of hosts can’t discuss anything but sports and it often becomes awful radio.

I laughed pretty hard when Spiegel and Parkins were talking about fucking cod and weight watchers. To me shit like that is great radio. It doesn’t have to be all sports all the time but if they can mix some other stuff in there it is great for me.

I've said this before but Spiegel and Parkins was awesome. It was a great show.

Spiegel and Parkins > McNeil and Spiegel > McNeil and Parkins

Spiegel, with all of his flaws, is better then Larry and McDoink. Cuz Larry and McDoink have many more flaws. They're more weird then Spiegel. Everybody is weird. But Larry and McDoink are weird in a weird way.

Spiegel is the normal kind of weird.

You've been pushing this agenda for a while now and I'm starting to come around to your way of thinking. He's the perfect Inside the Clubhouse/Hit and Run/fill in guy. He's like carbon, he bonds well with everything.

I rarely get to listen to middays straight through, and prefer Patrick/Eisen to Mac/Parkins or any of the pre-W&S shit on ESPN. But I really like Spiegs on baseball on Saturday, with whomever.

Fantastic show! Listened to entire day on podcasts. Spiegel should be in the lineup. Parkins/Bernstein and Mac/Spiegel from 10-6 would be the best lineup.

Back when I listened to 670 I was okay with (((Speigel))), him and Mac should have been a solid duo together...and they were from time to time. But it ended badly, very badly from what I can remember.

Mac and Matt's lives spiraled out of control during that time. Mac returning to substances and Speigel failing, initially at least, as a father and husband.

It was quite the rollercoaster! And LOLercoaster!!!

Matt Spiegel + Baseball = Great Radio.

In my best Grobber: "Period. End of sentence. New paragraph."

I've said before that he should be one of the cavalcade of hosts on MLB Network Radio. Hell, Memolo has been there for years and is actually good, Spiegel would be a far better fill in than that Jody Mac dumbass who was Goff's Atlanta partner for a minute and a half, and is now back in Philly.

Saying Speigel is a good baseball guy is like saying Roseane Barr is hot. Memolo on MLB blends in well there I will say. Speigel is cheap and under contract. The score won't spend the bucks on an actual baseball guy so they plop Speigel in as Mr Baseball.
