First ballot HOFer and one of the most dominant players I have ever seen play in the NFL. Good for him getting out early

Maybe not GOAT, but a generation defining TE who changed strategy. Mackey, Ditka, Winslow Sr, Gronk.

Gronk

Everyone else.

There’s something to be said for longevity but Gronk has no peers.

So no love for Gates, Gonzalez, and the loser on the Packers?

Come on Mike. Gonzalez is somewhat close, but not really, and Gates and Graham aren’t in the conversation.

Numbers wise. There are several TEs in the last 15 years. I am not going to say Gronk is not the best. I am just saying a few are closer than you admit.

Let’s not stat nerd this and also lets account for run blocking and clutch moments. No TE in the last 10 years is in Gronk’s neighborhood. He’s one of the best football players period over that time.

Gronk is the GOAT of tightends. No one has ever combined dominant pass catching with blocking as well as Gronkowski. Gonzalez had longevity but Gronkowski was the more dominant player and should be remembered as the greatest ever at his position.

Gonzalez had more than longevity, he played every game all season long. Gronk was chronically injured and he played in a much less physical era than Gonzalez.

Doesn’t matter. Gongalez wasn’t half the player Gronk was. Fuck outta here with that longevity argument. Nobody in our lifetime is in the same class as Gronk.

Put Gonzalez on the Patriots and he'd produce as much or more, he'd definitely play more games every year. Gonzalez had bums throwing him the ball.

You’re out of your fucking mind. Like saying Frank Gore was better than Barry Sanders. You’re not allowed to talk about the nfl anymore my friend.

Gronk also got some advantages from the Patriots. Hell even the dead murderer was as good as him a couple years.

He was certainly a bad ass. Not sure if he's the GOAT, but he is one of the best for sure.

It wouldn't shock me if he already had a handshake deal to be an announcer or in studio.
