Gronk is the GOAT of tightends. No one has ever combined dominant pass catching with blocking as well as Gronkowski. Gonzalez had longevity but Gronkowski was the more dominant player and should be remembered as the greatest ever at his position.

Gonzalez had more than longevity, he played every game all season long. Gronk was chronically injured and he played in a much less physical era than Gonzalez.
