This is a mistake. The Bears need someone like Howard to get those tough yards up the middle where Cohen is ineffective.

Well, at least the Sox aren't the worst performing Chicago team today.

Yeah, I would have held him for that. The few times you need him to pick up on 3rd and 1 would have been worth a 6th round filler guy.

Offered a third last year and turned it down.

Well, they finally got their wish. Hope Davis can stay healthy.

Don't like it.

Gotta draft a RB no later than the 4th round.

RBs have no value in today’s league. CJ Anderson is still available, if they want him.

A future 6th round pick?

Why not just drop him off on the steps of a Fire Station?

That seems to have not been managed well. It's not like Philly's offense is that different than the Bears' offense.

Watch, they'll draft a shitty punter with the 2020 pick.

Exactly.

This might be the first time there's some muttering in the locker room.

Trade him to an in-conference contender while your at it.

What could go wrong?

This seems to be one of those things where the coaches get too locked into a plan. If you can get value, maybe. But don't give him up for nothing. He was once considered one of the best backs in the league!

If it had been Phil Emery, the conditional 5th would have been if the Eagles beat the Bears in the playoffs this year.

Is Kenny Williams in charge of the Bears now too?

That was my first thought. Philly can use him but we can’t? On the other hand he will likely just be a short yardage 10 carry guy there.

I want to mock this more but I’m annoyed GB didn’t beat that price. Jordan Howard would be a beast in the Jamal williams role.

Nagy’s a great coach but I seriously question anyone who can’t use Howard effectively. He’s one of the best pure runners in 12 personnel in the entire league. He’s gonna be a beast in philly imo.

I'm just glad that Neill Armstrong found a way to work Walter Payton into his offense.

This fucking league these days.

Yes he is.

4000 total yards, 25 TDs and you get a 6th rounder for him.

Now they can prove that running backs are expendable.

They are going to create a new position for Cordarrelle where he always lines up in the backfield, and sometimes motions out to a WR, but gets 10 carries a game, therefore making Howard useless for the Bear. But how did you not get a 4th rounder for him?

Just checked out the SB Nation Eagles page. Saying that the Eagles fans are happy is an understatement.

Love this thread because like 100% of the posters here thought the game passed by Howard last year.
