You're probably right, but I'm going with Texas Tech by 20 or more.

Would Tony Bennett be the worst head coach to win a title in recent memory? calling Tony Bennett a bad coach is a serious head scratcher. The guy is elite.

It was pretty clear in real time.

But based on no reaction from anyone, I assumed they called a reaching foul to cause the double dribble. Apparently not.

It’s a shame. Thoughts and wire-taps to Bruce Pearl tonight.

as a die hard Illini hater I've always had a special place in my heart for Bruce Pearl and have always rooted for him wherever he was.

why would you have hopes for the Bulls to draft anyone other than Zion or Ja? And if they can't get those guys Rj and Garland are probably next on the wish list.

well obviously it would be nice if they win the lottery jackpot but I am not hoping for miracles. barrett does nothing for me. Bulls are too timid to take Garland. So was looking for some likely alternative.

Got the feeling that this game will be a throwback to the era of the peach basket. Don't know why but something tells me anyone betting the under is a lucky man tonight.

This has, against all odds, turned into a good game.

3 minutes left in OT.

Haven't hated a championship team this much since the UNC team with Hansbrough. Just going to avoid all coverage about what a great story this is, though I appreciated being reminded of the Bears losing the Super Bowl to add insult to injury :puker:

I liked both teams and was just wanting to see a good game.

But I do kind of agree with the people complaining about the call being reversed to give Virginia the ball late. At every level of basketball that is TT's ball....and if you have to break it down to see if a pinky barely touched the ball or not then the call on the court should stand.

Both of these teams starting 5's average age > the average G-League team's roster and prolly older than a half-dozen NBA starting 5's.

Yeah it very well could have....but to have to break it down to that level to see....when you could also see that it looked like the kid got fouled as the ball was knocked away as well. Just seemed like a situation where the call on the floor should stand.

I wouldn’t have complained either way. But I lean toward your side.

Probably not enough in that situation but I think it was probably correct.

I am fine with Virginia winning, I like their coach.

Any team that can keep Purdue from the Final 4 deserves a championship.

They should change the lyrics to these annual videos from “One Shining Moment” to “Remember When Duke Lost”...
