Well, you said "good burger," not "transcendent life-changing burger." Thats where the confusion comes in.

Like 4 miles. Google it.

What's happening at 5500 N. Kedzie? Is Suburban Spaulding trying to sneak a kid into Northside College Prep?

Oh, yeah, you could also just go over to Joe Orr Road Rod's place, he'll make you some instapot barbacoa.

I was creeping on the lacrosse team earlier. I’ll tell you what for as great as this place is suppose to be they got some weird fucking art. The students might be deranged. Maybe I just don’t get city art. Avant garde

There is a dance competition here.

Had a hair and costume change. Powered thru and didn't make it out to eat. I might make my husband stop there tomorrow and bring a burger home.

I did not compete. I might be the worst dancer in the world, I couldn't remember a routine to save my life. I was always terrible at it.

I didn't love Bryn Mahr breakfast club. Other than some crazy French toast options and some Mexican options I found the place to be a pretty run of the mill for breakfast.

As for burgers in the area I can't think of any.

If you want meat go a few blocks to Lawrence and hit up Kabobi. Great kabobs, sausages.

Walk a few doors down and go to San Juacito Taqueria. Amazing al-pastor.

Kabobi on the west side of Kedzie by Wilson? Wow, I was one and done on that place. Big portions, but bland as fuck.

I find that people overrate breakfast places. There are a few staple items that aren't that difficult to cook. Few places go far beyond those staples.

I'm not a big fan of Bryn Mawr Breakfast Club. My wife loves it though.

I've eaten at most of the Middle Eastern joints on Kedzie and I don't think any are really better than Pita Inn.

Anyway, I think Shakes went to the Bill Mahr Breakfast Club. That's a totally different thing.

No, it's by Lawrence. Could still be the same place you're thinking of. Was on Check Please last year and everyone loved it. I've been going there a few years and love it, nothing bland about sausages and kabobs and lamb shanks.

I don't think Pita Inn compares well to Kabobi. Different food. Pita Inn more focused on street fare like falafel and schwarma while Kabobi is focused on entrees like homemade sausages and lamb shank. A little more upscale (while still very casual) than Pita Inn.

All the local hausfraus rave about Bryn Mawr Breakfast Club. Maybe the eggs are being served up by a Chippendale's dancer.

My dad agrees with you on Pita Inn.

One more add on in the area: Golden Crust Pizza. My family has been ordering from there since I was a child. We are outside of their delivery zone but they do us the favor because we have been loyal customers for so long. It used to be kind of a dive for ordering in. About 2-3 years ago they changed the dining in concept and the place looks fantastic. They have a good beer list, outdoor area and lots of windows so you can actually see what you are eating.
