Shut it cheese head. Chicago is so great that Trump would add a head for all the winning.

Bulls will now only owe Hoiberg $1.5 mil of the $5 mil he was scheduled to receive next season.

All the more reason to whack Boylen. That is unless they really like him.

Boylen to get three year extension per Cowley. Astounding.

If I was Fred, I'd sign a back loaded deal with 100k salary for years one n two.

I’m surprised coaches sign contracts with that offset language. I can see it applying to taking a job with NBA teams, but not college.

I'm rooting for this team to fall in the lottery because guys like Williamson and Morant don't deserve to be subjected to Boylen and because Bulls fans don't deserve to be subjected to even more GarPax garbage simply due to their getting lucky in the lottery.

Why I’m buying season tickets for the Suns and want them to win the lottery more than Chicago.

Just reading about Paxson's press conference, which was amusing as usual. He did the usual whining about injuries and citing them as an excuse for himself as he's done the past 5+ years, but I enjoyed the added wrinkle this year of blaming the players themselves for getting injured because they're not hitting the weight room hard enough and other nonsense. Same executive who fired Thibodeau for making the players play too hard BTW.

I hope the Knicks get Zion and sign Durant and Irving. A proper tank plus the ability to sign free agents would really shove it up Pax's ass.

I’m too selfish to say I don’t want the Bulls to get Zion but I agree with Zeph in spirit.

I want to see Zion in Atlanta is he’s not a Bull.

Getting close to Knicks-level absurdity and incompetence.

Not even close to Knicks, Cavs, Lakers or Suns level of absurdity.

Foreman undermining his own coaches, poisoning the locker room, and making dumbass trades is basically equivalent to Magic's incompetence. It's just lower profile.

Why would they feel the need to extend him right now?

See how the draft goes...see how the start of next year goes.

This fucking team

It's enjoyable as always hearing the least accountable front office in the league offer platitudes about accountability.

Boylen can thank Hoiberg for taking the Nebraska job. I doubt the Bulls would have done this otherwise.

Either way, the Bulls are fucked unless they luck out in the lottery.

My near total apathy towards the Bulls and the NBA in general means I don't have to care how stupid this is.

Nah, as ltg implied earlier, Hoiberg not getting a job would have made keeping and extending Boylen more likely due to how little he's likely paid compared to the rest of the league. Even with the Nebraska hiring though, the Bulls elected to still be cheap anyway.
