Obviously the Bears don't pick very high. Also, I just don't see this as a dynamic draft. There is a clump of RB who are all about the same size and all about the same speed. The QB position all looks like guys who will get overdrafted due to position. The WR group seems like the workout warrior types. I don't think the outside rushers are all that strong. Nick Bosa bitched out on the college season so even though I think he is the best player in this draft, its tough to build up excitement for him.

TE looks strong and so does interior DL.

I think that this will be viewed in the future as a bad draft. If true, Pace is even more brilliant for trading out of it.

Isn't there a belief that Pace wants to trade up?

It would be funny for them to pull a Ditka-esque trade and give up the entire draft for someone's first two picks. I have to remain happy with Mack and just hope for minimal mistakes while building depth these next two drafts. It they get the hidden gem great.

Gotta get someone who plays TE without being hurt or having panic attacks.

Quality TEs are imperative to a you g QB’s development.

It has happened in every one of his drafts, I believe. I think it is even more justifiable to trade up in a bad draft for the one guy you like as the overall value of the picks you are trading is inflated.

I think this is a draft of filler.

Quinnen Williams is the best player in the draft IMO. Don't agree on WRs either. Harry and both Browns will be good players. There's some good mid round prospects like Isabella too.

Does anybody think Murray won't be a bust?

I don't think he will be. It's hard to define bust though if you're drafted first overall. I think he'll be a solid pro though.

I'm thinking he gets drafted after Haskins around 9th-14th.. he's 5'9 tops. He's gonna struggle to play QB in the NFL.

Nah he won't. Teams learned their lessons from Russell Wilson falling to the 3rd. Murray is definitely gonna be the first QB drafted and he won't fall outside of the top 4.

I, and I think the rest of the world, sees Hollywood as Desean Jackson. Sure, that is a viable NFL player. However, its also a one trick pony type of player and he might be the best of the group. Him being a first rounder I think is a testament to the weakness of the group. It doesn't mean that he will be a buster.

If you can take DeSean Jackson 2.0 in the 1st round you do it 10x out of 10. You run the card up to the podium. 10 years, 10k+ receiving yards and counting. He's a damn good football player. "viable NFL player" is a pretty big understatement.

 The 5 technique d lineman = best player in the draft theory again. Like Solomon Thomas and DeForest Buckner.

If I was Zona I'd trade down, Rosen is better than Murray or Haskins. If you can drop a few spots and get Bosa or Williams and pick up picks.. it's a great move.

This draft is absolute shit in terms of top heavy first round talent. Pace looks even more brilliant using his first rounder this year in the Mack trade.... Of course there will be names that slip through the cracks and flourish, there always is...but some of these players that will go top 15, it's laughable. Horrible draft.

Solomon Thomas is an edge guy, not an interior lineman like Williams. Buckner is really good. Put the crack pipe down Bob.

The two-sport guys worry me. Always have something to fall back on. I don't really like any the quarterbacks this year. It's interesting that one year starters like Murray and Haskins are regarded so highly. Doesn't seem like there is enough experience to say these guys will be good pros.

It's impossible to say if anyone will be good or not. Everything I've read about Murray seems like he has as good a chance as any prospect recently.

He is on team #4 of his NFL career. He has an NFL skill but I wouldn't call him a great WR. I wouldn't consider him a #1 WR at any point in his career.

If you catch over 1300 yards and 9 TDs you were a #1 WR that year.

It's even worse than the time that article was published. Everyone assumed Ed Oliver was a top 3, Suh like prospect but scouts have soured on him. And it was also before Bosa sat out most the year. The only riser really was Murray.

FavreFan is just bitter because the Packers product of a shit year happens to be a weak ass draft.

Not bitter at all. Like every draft there will be busts and great players. I just get a kick out of you and dolphin going the super hot take route of "the entire draft class sucks" which is laughably stupid. To dolphin's credit he didn't go as hard as you did and pointed out at least a couple strong position groups.

So the entire class doesn't suck and it's essentially the same as any other year then? Thanks for agreeing with me and wasting our time in the process!
