They tore our barn down today. It won't be long before the grandstand goes.

For me it's Maywood, no question. Anyway, my Kiddieland was on Devon and Lincoln.

That place did a lot of business with us over the years. No doubt your horses ran under our lights at some point, Jorr.

What are they gonna build there in its place?

They are building an industrial park. I guess it makes sense, because if a big box retail store or restaurant wanted to move close by, there's plenty of space in the area. I don't think the old Menard's across the street has been filled, yet.

There's basically every big box store imaginable from about 17th ave to 1st ave along that stretch of North Ave.

They should just set up the squirt gun horse race carnival game trailers for people to bet against each other.

Ours was on 95th and Stony and went by the name Funtown.

Cool thing is that there was a driving range next door. We played backyard golf with the errant range balls left in the parking lot.

As someone whose now has part of his budget determined by Maywood's EAV, this is disappointing.

I think Maywood Park is in Melrose Park.

Grandstand started coming down today. They couldn't even bother to take the signs down in one piece.

They didn't even keep the red letter Maywood Park signs intact?
