Why doesn't Embiid just dunk every time ?
He's basically like a Shaq in 2019

Nikola Jokic’s Dominant Postseason Deserves Your Attention

Quote:
Nikola Jokic isn’t just acing his playoff debut—he’s playing better than he ever has before. The Nuggets center earned MVP consideration for carrying an injury-ravaged team to the no. 2 seed in the Western Conference during the regular season, but his averages in every major statistical category are up in the playoffs. His numbers over the past seven games—27 points on 50.7 percent shooting, 11.4 rebounds, and 8.0 assists—are as good as any player in the league. Jokic has always been a transcendent passer. The big change over the past two weeks is how much he’s looking for his own shot. He has come to learn what most NBA stars discover about themselves early on: He can score at will whenever he wants to. Jokic, who is still only 24 years old, is having a superstar moment. He is only scratching the surface of what he could become.

Joel Embiid avg a point per minute in that first round series against the Nets. Just thought I'd mention that.

Stomach flu. He will be back. He is what an actual stud player looks like. Jokic's defense is non existent. Funny how defense matters for you til it is a guy you like then for some reason it goes out the window.

Embiid ended this debate a while ago. Jokic is cool as a solid No. 2 or 3 center but Embiid is light years ahead of him as player. Jokic can't even avg 1 block per game.

Defense matters to me unless the player is a transcendent offensive player. Jokic qualifies as that.

The debate isn't over amigo. You can keep saying it is but it's not. It's going to keep going, especially after Jokic beats Embiid in MVP voting this year.

Just like it kept going when Lebron made it to the playoffs?

The only thing making the debate debatable is Embiid playing in 63 games. THat's in MVP voting.

Embiid is regarded by just about everyone as the best center in the game. You can continue to fight it but you are wasting your time. The kid is a stud. He is better than Jokic at everything except passing. 3 point % is essentially a wash.

Jokic couldn't even check Aldridge (who isn't dominant by any stretch) one on one. They sent a double at him from start to finish.

You will never see Embiid have to double anyone.

Seeing as it was just 2 years ago when you tried to pump the argument that Jokic was good defensively, I tend to take your player evals with a grain of salt. Laughable in fact.

You also tried to make the argument that Embiid isn't all that good defensively. He will more than likely place on the all defensive team this year. Again your player evals are bad.

Jokic is good. Embiid is great. That is the difference.

Though you as is typical fail to point out any of them.

4th option Enes Kanter (My Guy) gave him a cool 26 and 7 on a very efficient 11 of 14 from the field.

He is a turnstile on defense and Jamal Murray is the guy taking all the big shots on offense.

Some great one he is.

ltg used this gem “Well, I don’t know I just stick to my strengths,” Parker said. “Look at everybody in the league. They don’t pay players to play defense. There’s only two players, historically, who play defense. I’m not gonna say that I won’t, but to say that’s a weakness is like saying that’s everybody’s weakness. I’ve scored 30s and 20s off of guys who say they try to play defense.”

You want so desperately to be included in any sort of basketball discussion.

I'm sorry (actually I'm not) that your basketball thoughts are so lightly regarded on here.

When its your guy Parker defense doesn't matter, but with Joker he's a turnstile. Hypocritical asshole

I'm not proclaiming Jabari Parker the best at anything in the league dickhead.

Do you have another whataboutism to dangle out for the class.

I got one for you you know nothing piece of shit.

Whatabout Jimmy Butler being better than Paul George for $500?

Whatabout Minnesota being better than Philly next year?

Giannis top two in MVP this year?

I knew your gutless ass would change the subject.

It is actually easy. All NBA appearances.

This year or for their careers.

Simple.

Now put the bread up with your scary ass.

You have been pumping the bullshit now start running for cover and pretend that you were merely trolling all along with your ignorant ass.

Damn you are stupid.

Smart suffered an oblique injury late in the regular season and was originally expected to be out for four to six weeks. However, he began running on a treadmill last week and also participated in lighting shooting drills

Some of the games in question were blowouts too you blithering idiot. No need for Embiid to overextend himself with that being the case.

The goal post will be in Gately stadium by the time you and the idiot incarnate Walt are done moving it.

His point had nothing to do with whether Smart is an Iron Man or not. He put up some phony stat about Smart's playoff minutes this season. He hasn't even played during the playoffs.

Embiid is a warrior. He makes them.a title contender. He is the one guy on their roster that is truly elite. Period.

All the other stuff is merely gibberish.

Look at how dumb you are. You are chest thumping over a guy that has been injured the first two years of his career. Only an idiot does that.

Where have I seen this before? Wait you did the same thing with Embiid.

Care to wager as to whether he was a "wasted" draft pick or not now?

Some of the games in question were blowouts too you blithering idiot. No need for Embiid to overextend himself with that being the case.

Smart is a tough guy. He’s not like Embiid out here making any excuse possible to miss a game.

Marcus Morris that makes it worse where's your Fultz bet big shot?

Look at how dumb you are. You are chest thumping over a guy that has been injured the first two years of his career. Only an idiot does that.

Where have I seen this before? Wait you did the same thing with Embiid.

Care to wager as to whether he was a "wasted" draft pick or not now?

we will wait a few years...not everything is on your terms

Damn you are stupid.

Smart suffered an oblique injury late in the regular season and was originally expected to be out for four to six weeks. However, he began running on a treadmill last week and also participated in lighting shooting drills

They aren’t a title contender. Kawhi will send Embiid home to nurse his fake injury.

You're correct. Your being rather stupid is being conducted solely on your on terms.

Embiid's career could end tomorrow and it still wouldn't be a wasted draft pick

He made Philly basketball relevant again. 29 other teams would kill for the chance to draft him if the draft were conducted now.

Hardly a wasted draft pick dummy. Continue to pray on the injury gods dumbass. For the record your quote was 75 to 80 games or he is a wasted pick. He has yet to play in 70 games and he still isn't considered a wasted pick.

You're already wrong about that. Forge on however and render yourself even dumber than first anticipated.

Another of the not so patented FavreFan proclamations. Aren't you bout out of those?

Joel Embiid has actually played in more games over the past 2 seasons than Jimmy Butler.
