I turned on the score at 6:45 and heard Hub take a call and the caller said something about the mueller report and lying and Hub dumped him and then the next caller says forget my question, I'd like to hear your answer to the last caller. Anyone else catch this? Sounds like Hub was talking politics at some point during the draft coverage but didn't want to be questioned on his political comment.

I was listening to WSCR's draft coverage this morning, and it wasn't too bad until Hub started talking. He said he's now a little disappointed that Adam Shaheen hasn't showed the same level of athleticism in the NFL that he showed in college at Ashland. You mean it didn't occur to you two years ago, you stupid fuck, that he might not look as good against NFL players as he did against Division II players?

A bit back Hub was knocking our great President on the air. He'll say the show is sports only, no politics. Then he goes on a political rant.

"I don't want to turn this into politics, but..."

I've heard him do this more than once.

Hub can have a temper. Once someone texted him he was mispronouncing Oregon. He got all bent out of shape.

to this day....I find Hub's football analysis very good. He's usually very well prepared and gives good thoughts. While doing so, he also comes off as an insufferable rectum of a human being, but that's unrelated to his football knowledge.

I read this board on occasion, never really felt the need to post.

This is 100% accurate. Hub is an easy listen, and I appreciate his takes. He is well-informed, and is often a nice break from the usual hosts.

Having ran into him in person at a remote for Bears pre/post, however, I can verify the other part of the quote is also correct.

It took decades but I have learned to be ok with hub's work, generally
