That's a strict ruling to disqualify a horse for coming out of his lane on a muddy track. There should be some leniency.

You can't ask a horse to be perfect in those conditions.

The trainer of Maximum Security, Jason Servis. Everyone knows he's loading these horses up with bad stuff. And it's one thing to do it on Thursday afternoon at Monmouth Park, but it's another thing to win the Kentucky Derby with some rat.

The right call was definitely made. It's a hard call to make in a race like this. I'm glad they made it. Especially because it was this asshole's horse. If it had been Baffert- another bad guy- I have my doubts he would have been disqualified.

If you watch a lot of races, you would see how capricious and arbitrary these decisions are. But he definitely hindered War of Will and in a dangerous way. You could see how hard Gaffilione had to check. And when you go over heels like that it's super dangerous.
