I decided to see if this clown's show has made any improvements by listening today and dropping in on the show occasionally this week and it's worse then ever. What is the point of Anne being there? The station needs to make her scarce fast. And Mr. Fred "Hitler" Huebner should keep his big damn mouth shut about anything and everything. This bigot was actually applauding the fact a security guard of Busta Rhymes was shot and killed. It's easy to say these things hiding behind a microphone none the less just not knowing anything about music besides hillbilly country garbage.

And let's not forget about the king of putting his foot in his mouth, Mike South. Again, making a big deal out of shit that doesn't even need to be. Who CARES Ozzie isn't going to the White House? I could give a fuck less! Always gotta slurp Bush's dick, huh Mikey? It's always dems versus repubs with that loser. Both sides can parish in a blaze, IMO. You know nothing about coherent and respectful sports talk let alone political and social issues. Just shut the hell up and talk some sports once in a while. I can't believe the Score has reverted to this type of bullshit paying this attention whore all that money to do nothing but pull shit out of his ass 5 days a week for 4 hours. This show is a goddamn tragedy to humanity and anybody who even believes this show is remotely entertaining is nothing more then a Mike South dickrider or just a closet racist harboring disturbing feelings for everyone who isn't caucasian.

Because of all of the many reasons we all hate this show, it makes it even more deplorable that Mike wraps himself in the "Undeniably Chicago" flag. I'd hate to think he's representative of a city obviously all of us at this board, and many others love.

Pretty much all of the on-air staff with the exceptions of Buffone and Rongey were born and raised in the area, yet only Mike makes the claim, like he's the only one that's allowed to be the hometown talent, or that everyone else isn't as "real" of a Chicagoan as he is. You know why? Because it's a crutch. It's just as pandering as MJH calling themselves the Corner Tavern. But, unlike MJH, he has nothing else of substance to offer anyone, so he hopes to land the meatball demographic who's dumb enough to listen to anything that claims to be "Chicago", because lord knows we all love our hometown success stories.

If I have the misfortune to get in my car in the morning to drive to the train, and it's accidentally left on 670 from the night before, I can't push the button fast enough to get to 1000. I actually get angry and feel my brain rotting if I have to hear even 2 seconds of Mike's voice. I don't particularly love Mike & Mike, but this is how badly Mike North has long since ruined a relationship with this particular listener.

Oh, I forgot, we are the new home of the 2005 World Champion White Sox (which we had nothing to do with since it was all on am1000) and it must've done by the PD - Thanks Mitch!

Very well said. I've lived in the area my entire life and I shudder to think of some out-of-towner tuning in and hearing the "Undeniably Chicago" tagline followed by you-know-who and his "dis," "dat," and "doses" followed by some ignorant race-baiting, homophobia, and god knows what else that spews from his sewer-pipe of a mouth.

I haven't listened to more than about 2 minutes of the MNMS in a few weeks, and I don't plan on going back. Even if Mike sticks to sports, you know the inevitable slide into political crap is just around the corner.

EVEN if the show stuck to sports, why would anyone want to listen when North is surrounded by Maxfield and Fred?? As bad as Jessie Rogers is, I'd rather listen to him solo versus listening to a subpar North surrounded by unworthy talent (for what should be morning drive on a sports talk station).

North had a few breakout interviews in the last year or two, according to some people on this board. Despite that, I honestly don't think North even has the ability to make a great sports talk show any more, even if he had that educated co-host who would stand up to him. I think he is too comfortable with what he has now and having to go back to old form would be too big of a blow to his ego and too hard work for him.

Plain and simple, this guy should NOT be on morning drive in Chicago. He deserves a TWO HOUR show at the most during the midday (less is more).

I remember years ago, during the absense of all day sports radio, looking foward to weekends with the sportswriter show, or Chuck Swirsky, or Chet Coppeck at night. And, when we first got the Score, how I had it on all day, and couldn't wait for it to go 24 hours.
The Mike North factor has completly ruined it for me, Fred Huebner has always been a know it all blowhard, but teamed with North, the station is not listenable. It's a shame, used to be a great way to start the day driving into work.
Now, even hearing his voice later in the day doing commercials, makes me sick.
Now, I am back where I started years ago, Johnny B on the Loop.
Sooner or later they have to shake things up at the Score.

At least Fred has started to debate North when he says something ignorant (I have to listen in the morning because I can't get ESPN in the john, funny that the only sports talk station I get in the crapper is WSCR).

Annie Maxipad has to go, she adds nothing to the sports talk. If I want political and social commentary, I will go down the dial to 890 or 560.

I don't like Mike and Mike, but they are the lesser of two evils, my score listening time between 6-10 is now down to the 10 minutes in shower. Alhtough I like the 10-12 show, I don't get to listen much because I am pretty busy during that time, too bad it is not on until 2, I would listen more (thats a hint score management).

Oh well, not much to is going to change, but thats my 2 cents.
