He also is being guarded by one of the worst defending Centers in the league though.

He still isn't regarded as better than Embiid.

He will be regarded differently going into next season. He’s earning the respect he’s always deserved this postseason. You can hate on his defense all you want but playing 105 minutes in 48 hours in high stakes playoff games earns him warrior status.

If you are going start using playoff series to judge players then you have to stop ducking the Donovan Mitchell stuff. He shifted the bed again and you ignored it only to come back next year to tell the world how great he is.

I don’t single any small sample size out. I use all available data. Mitchell has had a promising two years so far. Still too early to determine what he’s gonna ultimately be. That’s not relevant to Jokic’s body of work he’s putting together.

He avg less than a block a game for his career. You told me at one point he was a rim protector. You also told me that he was good defensively. He was neither.

In the last week I've seen One guy (Mark Jackson) state that Embiid is one of the most talented centers of all time and another (Paul Pierce) say he is top 3 most dominant right now in the league.

Nothing to talk about at this point.

You're conveniently extrapolating playoff performances to advance an argument so it is relevant.

If you are going to base your assessment of Guys you don't like i.e. Westbrook and Embiid on their playoff performances then you have to do the same with Mitchell. Period.

I like Embiid. He’s awesome. I just wish he could stay healthy and didn’t come up soft in the playoffs.

The fact that you’re comparing Donovan and Russ makes my argument for me. One finished his 2nd year and the other is a 10 year veteran with an MVP award. If Mitchell still sucks in the playoffs in 2025 I’ll concede this one.

You really don't like Embiid. You want this Jokic thing to turn out for you that you can't think straight.

Embiid dominated during the first series and he has played well in 2 of 6 games this series.

He is so much better and more dominant than Jokic that's its pointless to have these discussions. Embiid anchors both their offense and their defense. That will always give him an edge.
