Are you drunk?

Those songs are awful, as is the Foreigner catalog more broadly.

You're nuts. Gramm's voice, Jones riffage, the keyboard/horn arrangements making up for the awkward lyrics - they had it all!

And then came Juke Box Hero...

I knew I liked you for some reason. Your good taste in music must be it.

Yeah, it's an amazing album. I hadn't heard it in years and got it from the library last night.

Alright, we're all good here then. Carry on.

An aside: I listened to "Give 'em Enough Rope" yesterday. If that was put out by any other band, and not in between their two seminal albums, that is a solid album to hang your hat on, career-wise.

I don't have that one, but I have London Calling and the 3 disc Clash On Broadway set that includes songs from Give em Enough Rope.
I like them well enough, but I can't say I love them as much as a lot of people seem to. It's funny, I kinda like Big Audio Dynamite better. Don't throw anything at me......

Love, Electric, Sonic Temple
All 3 are great and each is pretty unique. That's better than most bands offer up.

Yep. Those are precisely the 3 I was alluding to.

Territorial anthem, maybe?

EDIT: that was pretty heavy. I retract my lame joke.

My son's HS Jazz band peeled the paint off the wall with a version of "Dancing Man" this week. I'm saddened and amazed how much better these kids are than my HS time.

Yeah, I've got this cd too. I've been watching a lot of Simon Phillips on YT lately.
But here's Dancing Men (live)

Watching John Prine on Austin City Limits. He is apparently an old Hawaiian man now, but damn, what a great songwriter.

Never thought I'd see "Dancing Men" mentioned here in a million years, wow! I think that was our closer in spring one year, too.
