Listened to the podcast, last 2 hours, when Tom Shear called.

Got to admit, it was really good to listen to.

Maybe it's nostalgia. But those early days of the Score were truly awesome. I even liked the Mike North clip they played.

Remember how the Score blew everything out of the water sports radio wise then. Before the score you only had Coppock and Bears radio where if you called WGN criticizing the bears Hub would go out and make fun of you and hang up.

It was a fun time back then because it was the wild west at the score.

I wish they had played the old HFC theme song.

Agreed. That was great radio. The 3 of them together was excellent. Nothing has come close to replacing B&B for me.

It should always be Mac/Boers/Bernstein together whenever Terry pops back in. Nostalgia for everyone. I don't care what they do with the rest of the day.

I missed most of the B/B years. I think I still wouldn't have liked them because Bernstein has and will always been a prick.

HFC are the glory days for me.

I think you would have been surprised. Midday B and B was a totally different ball game.

B & B was before pc kicked in. They mocked all races, religions, woman. They had a poor soul, down on his luck borderline special needs caller they had as a regular who's mental disability they'd use a a bit using him for entertainment ala Stern. Terry was just as despicable as Bernstein when they were B & B. Now all of sudden they're sjw's fighting white privilege. B & B are both gifted radio hosts who can make any topic interesting in the right pairing with co-hosts. I'm estatic Terry's health is better. His mind is still sharp. Glad he's enjoying life. But, Mac creating this saint Terry character is theater. That said, when Terry is back it's a must listen.
