In honor of NFL 100 there’s going to be lists. This list is by Pompei and Peirson.

#100 is a failed SCR host!

Will be interesting to see if Cutler makes the list, considering he's probably the greatest QB from a statistical standpoint.

He will, but he won't make top 15, or people will lose there shit. It's gonna be 85 Bears, Butkis, and Sid Luckman.

Cutty’s 85, too low I’d say.

alshon and bmarsh head of cutler.... cutler was not what we hoped, but the best franchise player at the most important position should probably be higher than 85

But Cutler was never anything better than slightly above average at his position relative to his peers.

As have The Bears been, relative to the rest of the NFC. He should be higher than that.

Cutler sucked, he's got no business on the top 100, neither does Patrick Mannelly.

Exactly. He compares to Joe Flacco without a ring. You don't get bonus points for not being Rick Mirer.

Holmes had Pompeii on Friday talking about the book from which this sprung and shared an anecdote told to them by Aunt Ginny about how in 83 she expressed her criticism to the front office on how the Bears had been poorly in part run for years. It really came across that he (Pompeii) was almost oblivious as to how poorly run it was quickly going to become soon thereafter.

He spoke about her like a fawning grandchild. Which has largely been the media's problem for years imo.

I don't think Cutler should be higher than Erik Kramer.

Your point is irrelevant since we're discussing individual play. The Bears have had MANY players more accomplished at their respective positions--and more valuable to the team--than Cutler was in either case. He shouldn't be on the list.

OK, I am not understanding this list as the same thing that you are.

I disagree, same as Mike Brown. I'd have Mack @ #2 behind sweetness

That was one of my first thoughts as well.

Cutler has to be on the list. I know people don't like him and he had a ton of issues, but he was one of the best QBs in bears history...if not the best.

Chris Zorich, but he should be put at linebacker.

I'll hang up and listen for your answer.

The Bears have the most HoF players in NFL history.. I don’t think he should make the top 10 personally

They should share a bullet too.
