I don't particularly like chicken, unless it's highly seasoned or cooked expertly. It's only a half step above the asbestos that is turkey.

And me eating it is a concession to age. Especially after eating something tasty for a day.

I like a smoked bird but if I’m going fowl I’d rather go with duck over chicken or turkey.

I've never tried duck. Maybe one day when I can go to a full blown Chinese banquet.

And I hope that your family is doing exceedingly well this holiday weekend my friend.

squirrel - you're a farmer right? Do you slaughter your own livestock for food? or do you go to the market to get your meat?

I had duck once in chinatown for a wedding i attended. It was really great. Someone there told me the best part to get and it was very tasty. But it was really greasy.

Foi Gras or whatever they call it. Never had it. Want to try but maybe too fancy for me.

It’s good, not hard to cook well really but there are places I’ve been that barely did adequate.

It’s a fine weekend. Getting together with my adopted family out here as a bunch of us (when you roll in the three generations) have birthdays this season so my friends mom decided to throw a party.

It is fattier than chicken but it shouldn’t be greasy.

I have butchered some of my own and helped other people. I don’t enjoy it, I am not good at it and have better things to do with my time so I usually take my own animals to a locker or go to the market for the better cuts of meat (only so many steaks on a steer). While I don’t think I’d be a vegetarian if I had to kill all my own I also think I’d eat a lot less red meat.
