Now that Vinny Del Negro will be the Bulls' new head coach, there's talk making the rounds that a veteran NBA head coach will be hired to assist Vinny on the Bulls' bench. Two names I have read are Bob Hill, who I think coached the Knicks, Spurs & Sonics, and believe it or not, onetime former Bulls' head coach & center Bill Cartwright. He's now an assistant for the Ron Howard-looking Lawrence Frank in New Jersey. While I'm willing to give Vinny a chance to succeed, he needs someone with experience to guide him. I thought I remember the Leslie Nielsen-looking Del Harris, the former Lakers & Bucks' head coach, assisting Avery Johnson down in Dallas before Avery got fired...

I don't know what kind of coach Vinny is going to be, who his assistants are going to be, but I'm getting a heck of a laugh out of Score's promo soundbite with My Cousin Vinny clips and Goff's drops during the introduction press conference.

Yeah, "Boers & Bernstein" have been known to add in their own soundbites, but "Mac, Jurko & Harry" have added the Don Zimmer soundbite in their Vinny Del Negro press conference...You know the one where Don says "Players..." It's worth a cheap laugh.
