Let's be honest. This is the most meaningless trophy of the 4 major north american sports. When the time ran out most of these guys acted like they didn't care. In football, baseball and hockey they're crying tears of joy. Just look now, Leonard doesn't give a shit, stop pretending to care.

This shit is as dull as the players who play it.

The entire city of Toronto doesn't care either. This is simply a product of the Leafs not winning jack shit in forever.

This sport would be dead without espn. Its for retards.

Gotta say Kawhi's MVP would feel more satisfying if they'd closed the door in game 5 rather than after he had such a comparatively quiet game tonight. Oh well, at least he didn't win it after going 6-24 in a game 7 or anything like that.

Van Fleet was good, but there is no doubt that Kawhi was the MVP. Van Fleet got his because Kawhi took so much attention.

Kawhi is the man.

This is off-the-charts shitposting. Now that's greatness to appreciate.

Cool to see the Raptors pull this off.

Lotta bad writing out there about Toronto's greatness. Basically they barely beat a team that missed KD the whole series and missed Thompson for five quarters. Cool for Toronto to win but it's not impressive.

glad to see Marc Gasol get a title after all the trials and tribulations in Memphis.

same with Ibaka.

Meanwhile Harden, Westbrook, and Chris Paul still dont have a title.

Toronto are champs through no fault of their own and receive a tarnished trophy.

Toronto is one of the more unremarkable teams to win in recent history. They lose 1-4 or 2-4 if KD plays, and they play a game 7 if Klay didn't get hurt in game 6. Hell they may have even lost if Klay played game 3.

There is no way to know for sure what would have happened.

They are a good team that probably deserved to win.

G.S. benefitted from injuries to key players in at least 2 of their title runs.

This year the injury bug caught them. Sad that happened to the 2 guys most responsible for their happening to win titles imo but whatever.

I'm ready to pay up but again if Klay isn't hurt them we're waiting for game 7.

Game was close even while he was in. Toronto was the only team during the series to have decided wins.

There is no way of knowing if they win last night with Klay. It wasn't a blowout (like it was when Kawhi we t down that year) it would have been a close game whether he plays or doesn't play.

Up 85-80 when he went out. 30 points through three quarters.

Never knew that 5 point leads with 12 minutes to play were insurmountable. Thanks for enlightening me.

Without Durant Golden State doesn't stand a chance.

Seems old Vegan was singing quite the different tune earlier in the series. Pre Sour Grapes era.

Nah you won't reshape the narrative this rip. Keep it pushing. Stupid trolling jobs should be beneath you at this point. Unfortunately they aren't.

Continue to tell and show the world just how much "you don't care" about NBA threads and sections.

Remember. YOU DON'T CARE ABOUT NBA THREADS AND NBA SECTIONS!
