I was interviewed by the WSJ about cocoa prices or some damn thing but don't think the story ever ran.

Was interviewed once about cults on college campuses or something like that. Phone interview after I moved to Montana so I’m not sure if the story ran or not

Oh yeah. A couple years ago channel 2 news interviewed me about a lightning strike the hit a woman under a tree a couple blocks down the street. Alas, she was unavailable. However, they only ran video of me pointing to the damage to the tree.

I was once interviewed by Dr. Kenneth Noisewater. A pleasant conversation ensued.

Once as a kid in a summer program at Roycemore. The tv lights came on and I froze up and started nervously stammering. Iirc Linda Yu started giggling a little and gave me a hug. Fortunately most was edited out.

Oh, and as a underage meatball fan drinking at an establishment in Atlanta during the 86 Super Bowl. Didn't get interviewed as much as I was shown bouncing around in a Payton jersey riling up the crowd. Made all the 11pm news shows, but everyone thought I looked Italian .

My wife gets quoted all the time because of her work. I have a couple of times for work stuff. Back in HS, I got short postgame interviews a few times...I was kind of a big deal. #glorydays

Speaking of interviews, this is a very strange story. I hang out with this guy at the track who is originally from New York and he has the most fabulous New York accent. So one day I was browsing Youtube videos and I saw one titled "Nirvana Responds to Fan Reaction to In Utero" or something like that. That seemed somewhat interesting so I hit play. I was doing something else and half paying attention to the video.

MTV came to the St. John's campus and handed out copies of In Utero. I'm not sure the album was even officially out yet. Then the next day MTV would return and talk to people about their feelings on the album. As they were handing out the CDs, I heard a very familiar voice, but I couldn't put my finger on it. I rewound the video, and sure enough it was my racetrack friend, very young and with a full head of hair. All the videos on Youtube. Quite unlikely and odd.

Tribune interviewed me about the Taste of Chicago. 20ish years later, my stepson was interviewed on WBBM-TV about the Taste of Chicago.

I was interviewed by Bob Jordan once.

I tipped over a truck on the inbound Ryan on a Saturday morning in June MANY years ago. The entire inbound expressway was shut down for four hours

I also forgot that I was once interviewed by the Western Illinois University Police about inappropriate phone calls.

What was the haul? I can only imagine trying to avoid something to cause a tip. I saw a large truck make a 90° turn a little too fast. You could tell the load shifted in the bay and hit the left wall of the truck and over it went. Can't think of anywhere on the older Dan Ryan there was a sharp turn.
