I saw a game there in 2015. It ranks right up there with the classics (Fenway or Wrigley) or the best of the new stadiums (Oracle Park, PNC Park, Camden Yards). It might be top 5, if it's not, it's definitely top 10.

it's an ok stadium. i don't think it's on the level of wrigley or fenway. att/oracle is better.

the best part is how its' dug into the ground. that when you enter, youre basically entering at the base of the upper deck and then looking below you to see the field and lower deck.

It's an old stadium that shares some sight line issues with original Comiskey. Either get a seat between the bases or in right field, or else you are liable to have a seat that faces away from home plate.

The concessions are pretty poor, but they let you bring food in so avoid the 110 and stop at Phillipe the Original and get some french dip sandwiches and take the side street entrance on Vin Scully Way (off of Sunset?).

The views of the skyline and mountains are excellent. All in all a good experience.

Pat and Ron yesterday said the stadium's capacity was 56,000 and when the attendance was announced at 53k+, Pat said it was a "sellout." Is anything above 90% considered a sellout these days?

i remember as a young mofo my dad bringing me to Dodger Stadium one summer night. He was in sales, and we were in LA for some kind of family function and a friend of his threw a couple tickets our way and he and I went to that game. The seats were right on the left field foul pole, front row. It was pretty amazing to a 10 or 11 year old kid to be in the front row. Dusty Baker played left field for the Dodgers back then and I can remember that the fans would toss bubble gum out to him before the start of the game and they had to go pick it all up before the first pitch. He was really into bubble gum back them apparently. Anyway, it was a beautiful night and a beautiful park and some of the greenest grass I can ever remember seeing. RIP pop, and thanks for that night I will never forget.
