Half-watching the first round. Somebody is -5 after 15. That's an unacceptablely good score for a US Open in my opinion, a winning score for the entire tournament should be -2 to -3 unless somebody is playing superhuman golf.

The commentator said that the winds were low. Fuck that noise, plan for low winds and if the winds kick up let them try to win at +1. It's not the Quad Cities Open, it's the national open tournament.

Hoping the greens firm up a bit. I know the greens are small so the need to be able to stop the ball but all the spin they were getting was not very USOpen like. I hope they can keep the winning score in single digits but might be tough without some help from the weather

His voice is too loud for golf. I like the velvety tones of Jim Nance. Or a random British guy.

Azinger had big shoes (and a big ego) to fill, but I don't think he's very good. Justin Leonard is much better.
